Install instructions

Follow these simple steps to get started on your platform of choice:

For Windows:

  1. Download the "Godot Community-win32-x64.zip" file.
  2. Extract the contents of the ZIP file to a location of your choice.
  3. Navigate to the extracted folder and locate the "Godot Community.exe" file.
  4. Double-click on the "Godot Community.exe" file to launch the app and start exploring the Godot community.

For Linux:

  1. Download the "GodotCommunity-linux-x64.zip" file.
  2. Extract the contents of the ZIP file to a location of your choice.
  3. Open a terminal window and navigate to the extracted folder.
  4. Run the following command to make the app executable:
    1.  chmod +x "GodotCommunity"
  5. Launch the app by entering the following command in the terminal:
    1.  ./GodotCommunity

For macOS:

Note that this version is currently untested:

  1. Download the "Godot Community-darwin-x64.zip" file.
  2. Extract the contents of the ZIP file to a location of your choice.
  3. Navigate to the extracted folder.
  4. Double-click on the "Godot Community.app" to launch the app and start your journey in the Godot community.
